Nice subject, the old leather bindings show there age. By way of suggesting improving, your focus is sharp throughout, May be if you had used a shallower depth of field… more

By way of suggesting improving, your focus is sharp throughout, May be if you had used a shallower depth of field and focused on one or three books and had softness on the ones further away it would have made for a more interesting composition. Great colours and super thing to inherit.
