“ Moody day ”
Not going to lie, I have been very busy this week and I may have forgotten about 52F sorry team. So at the beach today the feeling was pretty moody and I captured this. I am not very skilled at monochrome at all so please any advice is welcome!

I love this, it conjures up all sorts of emotions and thoughts about what is happening in the photo and to the person taking it.

I love this image Yolandi, it is very moody - all of it - the wild looking ocean and the sky. I think it's a framer.  Well captured.

Wow! That’s such a beautiful place! … more

Wow! That’s such a beautiful place!
I think of you did a higher aperture and iso, it would probably be more in focus (it seems like the stones on the beach are more in focus then the road on the hill, but that might also be because of the quality of the file itself).
Was the photo under exposed? The sky is very grey and slightly grainy for some reason.. I don’t actually know how to edit b&w photos of stormy weather (because the grey clouds are such an important part of the story), but generally speaking, it’s better to have as many black pixels and white pixels in the shot as possible, while reducing the grey ones. I definitely have trouble with this as well.
But the waves, the rocks, the beach and the hills look so wild! You got the b&w perfectly there!
Good job keeping up with the challenge, even if it was last minute. It’s a beautiful picture!
