There is a Japanese Cemetery less than 20 minutes away from my house. I will be adding another photo in the comments to give a sense of the place, but I chose the one that "talked to me" the most. A name and a date can say so much.

    I echo other comments about the framing of this stone between two taller stones. In fact it "feels" surrounded by taller stones in foreground and background, and that gives some weight to this otherwise-unexplored grave marker. Great eye for the composition and lighting in this image. Nice work keeping the background characters in focus to emphasize the Japanese name.
