“ Walking the plank to hard boiled doom ”

The egg wobbles on the wooden spoon, staring down at the boiling water below. Its mate is already gone, floating lifelessly, a victim of the heat. No way out, no second chances—just a slow, inevitable drop into the pot.

This was a fun challenge!
