“ Solitary ”
Visited the rural shores of Pomene in Mozambique ??, Africa. Found this “bar chair” under a palm tree in the searing heat. Looked like the solitary lady was making her way to the solitary seat in the limited shade available.

    I think you've captured a great moment here. The stool, the shadow, the woman all together make this image. I don't know if the black-and-white helps any; parts of the stool are left uncolored, and the color pop of the woman distracts from the stool. I might like to see a color edit of this image to compare.

    Funny, I thought it was snow until I took in the whole scene. Love the palm shadow. The in-your-face closeness of the chair screams, "sit here, sit here!"
