Single subjects with lots of texture work really well for a Fill The Frame challenge. An onion is a good choice. I like how the subject is slightly at an angle and still… more

Single subjects with lots of texture work really well for a Fill The Frame challenge. An onion is a good choice. I like how the subject is slightly at an angle and still has its skin, for added interest. I also like the half shadowed approach but the lighting isn't quite balanced. It would be good to see more of the top, with it's textures and not have the light in one very intense spot. Perhaps a diffuser for the light source, or having the light further away from the subject would assist.. happy framing
