“ Let there be light ”

Electric light could be said to be one of the most impactful technology changes. Artificial light extended the working day, made evening and night time social times and took us away from the solar and lunar cycles. Thinking about the eclipse a little too this week

Late to have a look through photos this week. But I am glad I got here. I love the flickering lights and the moody lighting of this. We lost power on Christmas Eve (not ideal in an Australian summer at the best of times...) but my young family and I lay on my bed and watched the solar powered Christmas lights across the road. It was a new kind of magical! This photo reminds me of the night, so thank you!
