“ Perspective ”
This wooden ruler was the only ruler in my family’s house when I was growing up. My children have also used it. Ordinary and common, as I look at it now from a different perspective, I see not only its usefulness, but acknowledge the memories it raises tie me to family, past and present.

    Reminds me of the ones we had as kids. I like the leading line it creates, and placing it on the wood floor created a perfect backdrop for it..

    I like the perspective and the framing on this shot. The different wood grains play nicely against each other. Good leading lines and DoF.
