Really like the depth of the blacks and the contrast in this image.

You might consider a bit of context to enhance the story the books tell. Art? Science? Contrast? Are the books eagerly read, or are they neglected?

The tonal range and lighting is really nice, and well-suited to a black and white photograph. The composition is also nice, as the diagonal makes the books extend away, making me wonder how many more are there.
