“ Safari Favorite! ”

I clearly was drawn to the zebras on this safari. Here is a low key portrait of a wood carving acquired in Tanzania. I used a lightstand and a darkened room (my dining room studio) with a black backboard. It took many many tries to get the lighting /shadow sides correct. Worthwhile assignment!
