“ Working my way up to 8# ”

I experimented with pattern and spot metering. Also used the Nifty Fifty at f 1.8 with exposure compensation down 1 2/3. This was shot with one desk lamp at my left, hand held.

What a gorgeous, gorgeous photo! The gritty textures are totally appropriate for the subject matter.

The shadow of the dumbbell on the band and the bit of light at the bottom of the top dumbbell are a bit distracting. Other than that, I love this image!

I love the lighting to - great effect.

This is so nice because of the red coloring. I like that there is also a shadow because you place the light from the left. Very nice.
