“ Tomatillo ”
A fruit that is little known in Australia, so I was quite surprised when doing my shopping to find these "mexican husk tomatoes" in the local fruit and veg shop. The idea was to make Tomatillo salsa but alas the 52 challenge of the week saw the produce in front of the camera instead of in the oven!

    I thought this was a Cape Gooseberry until I read your description, but it is a related plant. Physalis peruviana vs. Physalis philadelphica.  The detail and the lighting is lovely and the choice of black and white works really well, as does your use of negative space.
