“ Drifting down the river ”

It's Spring holidays in NZ and there were lots of kayaks on the river that surrounds the Botanic Gardens in my city. I waited until this pair drifted under the dappled shade of the weeping willow.

The golds and green colour palette and texture in the rippled water are so good, Carolyn - even the canoes/kayaks (never know which is which!) fit the colour palette!
