“ Calligrapher Flower Fly ”

I ventured out into the garden to find a subject for this week's challenge. I thought this tiny little guy on my bee balm was a bee, but it turns out it is a Calligrapher Flower Fly. It eats aphids, doesn't eat the flower, does't sting and is a great pollinator.
