Camellias are common here in Japan but were traditionally considered bad luck because the flowers fall, not petal by petal, but as a complete "head", like an executed samurai...

Very pretty and I can feel the warmth of the sun on the back of the photographer. Plus I have learnt about them being bad luck in Japan.

I have not real suggestions but wonder what it would look like with a shallower DOF.
