“ Reaching for the Sky ”

No, it’s not the day of the Triffids. I came across this newly “minted” fern frond emerging on the bank of a creek where we were having a break for a few days. Pointing the camera to the skies gave me this image of the still to be unfurled tip looking more like a head with “eyes” on each side...
