“ Onion blossom with water drops ”

Fascinating what nature produces. Condensed water in the protective shell of an onion blossom. In a few days, the shell will break through and a beautiful flower will open.

So many amazing things surround us every day. So beautiful. Maybe next time add a bit more light to the subject so it doesn’t get outshone by the light spot on the… more

So many amazing things surround us every day. So beautiful. Maybe next time add a bit more light to the subject so it doesn’t get outshone by the light spot on the right of the background? Or maybe just use a curves layer to bring the bright spot down? Either way, lovely capture! I have Egyptian Walking Onions, so we never get flowers, just clusters of onion sets.

They are beautiful, even before they have flowered. You have captured lovely detail, the bud feels so delicate. I like your use of shallow DOF. My only suggestion is to watch out for bright spots, especially at the edge of a shot. You have two blueish ones, top left and middle left. They naturally draw the eye away and out of the frame... have fun
