“ Peak hour traffic. ”

4 o’clock traffic on the Gregory Highway, as we are just landing on the Emerald airport runway. It is a bit scary how so many young people head to the cities leaving country towns so empty. A huge difference to the congested four lane highways in Brisbane at 3 o’clock when we flew out.
