“ using a hand plane ”

I was lucky this week. at my wood workers meeting this week we had a guest speaker. prefect chance to photograph a stranger. he was discussing the history and techniques of the hand plane.

I like how you captured the subject's intense concentration and focus.

I wonder if you could have politely asked him to remove the coffee cup and shot from an angle that avoided the window shade. It's a bit distracting.
