“ Contemplating Rangitoto from Maungarei ”
Maungarei, Mount Wellington, is a dormant volcano that overlooks my suburb. Auckland is dotted with the damn things. They're fantastic. Maungarei is now closed to traffic and a great climb. It's bigger than most, and overlooks the biggest of them all, Rangitoto.

    Your shot is interesting AJ Usually a wide aperture shot gives you a shallo depth of field and a blurred background life if your first ‘Really’  shot.. in the one you submitted it works the opposite way. I am confused, maybe it’s just me. !!!
