Week 36: Blue Hour, 2024

“ Sunset over the Tāmaki River ”

Blue hour was, in this case, about 10 minutes. But the stormy clouds came to PLAY over Auckland's Tāmaki River and Maungarei/Mount Wellington.

Windy day, so held the tripod down with the camera bag and tried for the longest exposure I could get away with for some dynamism.

What a great spot for a photo shoot. The lights are clear but the tree moving in the wind adds interest to the foreground.
