I tried orange and blue last year...I wanted to try red & green this year. I was on a mission to stay away from the universal "Christmas" vibes and attempt something creative. As I dug through my house (another week of crunch time) I found red lipstick and green cellophane.

I love playing with plastics too. I like this shot. Great use of red and green, and stands out as unique among a sea of flowers, oranges, and coloured pencils.
