“ Break in the rain ”

All my shoes are soaked. My rain jacket is soaked. It literally has rained almost continuously for two weeks straight. This morning saw a brief break in the bleak. Rest assured, the rains returned about two hours later.

Difficult to remember there can be too much rain - but even I get tired of being waterlogged. I'm waiting for it to dry out here so I can mow the pasture - just enough… more
