“ Stone Tool ”
My father grew up on a small farm in Southwest Michigan in the 1920s-1930s. The eldest of four boys, one of his tasks was to plow the fields. He turned up some artifacts as he tilled the soil. The object pictured is presumed to be a tool such as a hammer or hatchet might be used today.

    Nicely done! FWIW I don't think it is an axe. Those were usually made out of flint or chert. But it might be a tool for grinding grain, like a pestle...
