“ Lighting the Advent candle ”
With today’s first Advent Sunday, I thought it would be fun to do a low-key shot of lighting the first candle. My very patient partner lit a number of matches as I tried different exposure settings. No fingers were burnt in the process of making this photo!

The surrounding areas are dark but not completely black, which nicely adds depth...
