“ High Noon Shadows ”
I'm not sure this follows the requirements. I went out when the sun was high in the sky but unfortunately it was mostly cloudy that day. I found a short time when the sun was out and was able to take several shots with harsh shadows. This was one of them.

I love to see the effort that goes into the shot.  High SP for handheld.   Wide aperture 2.8 for isolating subject from BG.   Long lens for a gorgeous frame.   A very respectable ISO to pull it all together.  Use of a polarizer  would reduce the glare on the leaves. Unless your intention is to emphasize the details on surface.  It ain't cheese, so no shredding necessary.  Good job considering the wild weather swings during last week...snow,sun, very dark at times, piercingly bright at others, thunder snow, all within a ten minute period. Oh the bravery...lol. I like it.

Given the near-verticality of the shadow that's most clearly shown, I think this fits nicely. Certainly more on point than my shot down in the subway where I required a clock to prove it was noon... Good colour and framing. I like the diagonal line in the background that separates the green against green (lower left) from green against browns, blacks and dark green (upper right).
