“ Swirling into the Black Hole ”
This photo was taken on the grounds of an Impressive dog rescue and sanctuary called "Dog Tales".

I decided to use the original photo with some experimentation using Photoshop. I played with the twirl function, then exposed some of the original photo so the flower would show through.

    Helen, the purple on purple here is quite interesting. And mixing the twirl with the original is a terrific idea. There are a few "bits" next to the single blooms petals which, to me, look like they're being sucked into the vortex that you've built. I like that impression but feel that they could have stood out a bit more in order to make them feel fully intentional.
