    Hi Gregg - I used my Sony camera and was a fair distance from my wife. That may account for the deeper depth of field if I had used my Nikon system. However, I did not want too much blur but in actual fact, did not give that treatment any forethought. I don't particularly like the vignette tool but have used it in the past. =For my own edification, I will explore the Black & White option. Thank you, as always.

    Despite your f/2.8 setting, Eric, there's a lot in focus here. I like the concept and the shot is nicely simple in terms of having just the one person captured. I do wonder if adding a vignette blur, or shifting to B&W might have been an effective approach. of course either of those techniques might also have come off as too artificial...
