The sign is kind of appropriate as I feel that the "rule" of thirds is over emphasized, with some folks thinking that if you don't use it, there's something wrong. It's one of many compositional approaches and that's it...

    Interesting thoughts. Interesting picture. I gravitate towards rule of thirds. If it looks right. I don’t have to use this rule, it’s a place to start.

    The use of the 3rd sign was a good choice.   If we try to force any artist - photography rule onto an image it may not turn out well and looks well, forced.
