On my digital canvas a face emerges
Where a kind and gentle face suppresses
In its silence repressed shouts and hurts
From times when she weeped feeling out of sorts.

The light reflected in her gentle face
An outline of a warm and loving heart
Ignoring what cannot be seen
Hiding in its shadows memories so pristine.

Her deep beautiful black eyes kindness reveal
Gentleness and love with great appeal.
Dreamy dark pupils hiding stories of old loves and hopes for new ones arriving on shore.

Her bright smiley face a sign of inner confidence 
Hide footprints from yesteryear's life-informing events. 
For behind that calm, storms from a distant past, 
Tears could well up really fast.

Her artist’s hands suggestive of a most creative mind. 
Hands that witnessed and portrayed expressions from her past 
A musician, a sculptor or a member of an actor’s cast?


Her ivory white skin and black hair as dark as the night
