“ Loggerhead Eggs ”

We were at a turtle rescue. They said the shells are soft until the turtles hatch and then the shells harden.

Oh wow! I thought these were flower petals at first. I assume these are shells AFTER the babies have hatched? They look torn at the edges. Fantastic photo… more
