I was at the dog park and was attracted to the texture and colors of these reeds along the pathway. I liked the original photo but it didn’t really the abstract challenge so I did some playing around. First I used a tool to distort the image by adding curves to the very straight reeds. Then I ...

Very unique composition and interpretation! The color harmony is great.

My eye really struggles to find a focal point, I think it would be a stronger piece if there was a larger element of that red/orange in the center to draw the viewer in.

Overall, an interesting take on the subject matter and great creative editing.
