I badly wanted to join in grown up card games when I was a boy. When I was about six or seven, Dad said he'd teach me 52 Pickup. There I sat, dead keen to learn, mesmerised by the shuffle, eyes locked on the readied deck. Then the cards flew everywhere. Pranked, but how I laughed!
