I was initially aiming to have just the inside of the daffodil flower filling the frame, but then I saw the resident inside, and thought this adding some extra interest to the scene.

    I really like the square crop on this shot and the vibrant but natural colour of the flower. The insect is very interesting, but even at F7.1 the DOF is very shallow… more

    I really like the square crop on this shot and the vibrant but natural colour of the flower. The insect is very interesting, but even at F7.1 the DOF is very shallow, but his eye/head does look sharp. For this challenge I would have been tempted to shoot either the flower or the insect. The insect is very small, so it's hard to define him as the subject matter... Happy Framing
