“ Balloon Over the Desert ”

This is a bit of a streak saver this week. Was out and about near the airport - you can see one of the buildings associated with the airport on the ridge. This time of year, more balloons are floating about as we approach the time of the International balloon fiesta.

Pretty good for a streak saver. I like the composition, with the balloon obviously. This can be interpreted as both the view itself or the view from the balloon.

Definitely fits the challenge for this week. I really like the colour tones and texture you have captured. Being from the Canadian prairies I love the desert, I always wondered people who live there get used to the view and the same for people who live by the ocean.
