“ The Journey Beyond the Oak ”
I couldn't think of anything for this week until today on my daily walk past this beautiful gnarly oak. I took a shot of my husband and the dog.

If I could do it again I'd get a lower angle and have my husband's figure above the horizon line.

I like the cold colors uou used here. Yes, it is best to place the person or subject out of the horizon line or anything similar. I would also suggest a tighter crop on the right in order to bring more attention to the gorgeous silhouette of the other tree. Overall, well done.
