“ Helicopters ”

This photo of tiny "helicopters" on our maple tree was taken with a macro lens. Each one is less than 2" across.

The photo was also lovely in color [https://flic.kr/p/2p3tukB] but I couldn't resist converting it to B&W. More and more B&W is my medium of choice.

I like it in color, too! I never thought that Maple helicopters would make good photo subjects, but they do!
