“ New fallen snow ”

The 1st day of the new year with a fresh snowfall. I was out hiking, enjoying the morning on a new trail when I remembered I needed a self portrait for this week. I used a small rock and the bridge to support the camera for this shot because I did not bring a tripod.....

I like the contrast of the white snow and the dark tree trunks.

Perhaps a lower camera angle and eliminating the fence… more
