    Please excuse me for commenting my own photo but I ran out of room for adding what I feel are important artistic details.
    This was done in monochrome to emphasise the bleakness of the subject matter, underexposure adding to the feeling. The far side of the headstone is also darkened, as are the surrounds to contrast the darkness of infinity with the light of life. The image floats on a 'cloud' shadow, to emphasise the tenuous nature of life and how it blows away. The white, over-wide mat represents the infinite and how we all become part of it.
    Sorry to be a downer but this really got to me.
