“ The Last leaf ”

What a great challenge. I stretched me a bit but enjoyed this one. Photo's of various items and getting the lighting right. Then off to editing in Photo shop. Set Raw picture to black and white.
Used the Auto balance to get things started. Edited the white and black up and down a bit ...

Wonderful detail in the leaf and I think the square crop was a good choice to provide balance to this composition. As a shred, I feel the branch is a bit distracting… more

Wonderful detail in the leaf and I think the square crop was a good choice to provide balance to this composition. As a shred, I feel the branch is a bit distracting how it ends almost at the edge of the frame and would prefer it carry through and out of the frame or cropped out completely.
