“ The Canal ”

My wife and I were kayaking in Lake Natomas earlier this year. Near the edge was a concrete structure but we never knew what it was. We took multiple walks in the area above the lake and finally found the structure and what it was. It was the beginning of a canal system created in the 1910's ...

Definitly leading lines in this picture and like the contrast between the green grass and the grey walls.

It looks like the horizon is not a straight line. try to make it a straight line in editing, that makes it even stronger.

Greg, this is marvelous. The framing and overgrowth make me think that I'm looking back in time as my eyes are drawn into the photo. Well done.
