I own very few physical books anymore. I am lucky to be staying in my 90 year old father’s house and was going to shoot the bookshelf in his office, when I noticed the painting next to it. by including the painting I think it adds to the Sense of physical books passing i to history.

    Yes the2 seem to be passing into history. Sigh. I still prefer reading a physical book to reading on a pad or computer since I do so many other things on them. And I keep my favorites. Making the colors the same luminance does bring them together. Nice.

    Warren, the painting and bookshelf work well together. Small detail, but I'd suggest cropping slightly to eliminate that corner of molding at the top of the bookshelf.

    Well done. It's a bit too saturated for my taste, but sometimes that happens I like the angle you shot at and think the books, with the painting go nicely together!
