“ Rose Building Reflected ”
The Rose Building was constructed in 1902 and holds historical significance in downtown Cleveland. I walk past this building nearly every day when I'm in Cleveland. On a recent morning, it had rained the night before, leaving several puddles, one of which reflected the image of the Rose Building.

    This will be an odd comment as it has nothing to do with the image you submitted for the theme "Reflection." Bear with me anyway...
    I was reviewing some of your past images and chanced upon the photograph you took for the theme "Symmetrical Composition." Yes, there's a personal artistic and aesthetic bias here, but I think the image is magnificent. It captures the lack of concession nature provides to aging structures, the architectural dignity they maintain despite that, and the muted colors perfectly capture the sense of nostalgia and loss many of us feel as we regard current buildings that are either excessively avant garde for the sake of being so, or suggest a glass and metal sterility in their towering presence.
    Again, personal bias. But one in this case that is well justified when I gaze on the edifice of the Union Trust Building as you have chosen to present it. Well done!

    A great puddle photo. And also great street photography. The reflection is very sharp and I like the fact that you only see the reflection and not the actual building.
