“ Pass the Booze ”
"Been my friends all day it's no good I'm still lonely
Seems that I just can't forget my one and only

Please put the bottle on the bar where I can pet it

I had a hectic week and was only able to shoot for one day on the project. However, I managed to take about 2000 frames during my daughter’s three dance recital sessions. For this week’s photo assignment, I went to a local bar with my friend and saw a man sitting alone, looking down, probably at his phone, after his buddy left for a phone call. He seemed “so so alone”, which reminded me of the song “Pass the Booze” by Ernest Tubb.

Great shot and such a good interpretation of the lyrics. I really like the B&W conversion, it works so well for this.

Awww. I feel sorry for the guy. Perfect lyrics. I helps convey the loneliness. Black and white is a good choice.
