Definitely a candidate for the Redo challenge at the end of the year. More time would have allowed to at least edit the lamp posts’ flares but needs must and it will have to do for this week.

Like Clare I like the contrast between the shadows and the highlights. Getting the man crossing the road is timed to perfection, having him under the street light and in front of the yellow door(?). The wet road surface adds some interest in the foreground too. All in all a super shot.
