    Very good first attempt! It's well framed, and it has nice color contrast. The central framing gives the focus to the subject, not the story, but the contrasty colors balance it out and bring in some energy into the shot. The only thing I think could make this better is perhaps a bit more ... brilliance, if that's the word. Make the image pop a little bit more somehow. But even without it, it's a very interesting looking tree, and a very good first attempt of a new technique!

    That's lovely - my only comment would be to give that beautiful tree a bit more headspsace up top and more breathing room on either side. To my eye it looks just a tad… more
