“ Most natural objects require a closer look ”

This golden barrel cactus is the resting place for sand, insects, petals, leaves, etc. Only wind or machine can retrieve items or pierce its flesh.

I am struck by the detail and perfection in this desert dweller.The ribbon-like spines are particularly wonderful.
