“ Lion in the woods ”

In our local park there are various wooden carvings. This is a closeup on what is meant to be a dragon’s egg with painted lines. The lines drew me in and then I spotted what I think looks like a lion’s face.

Perhaps this would have been a stronger entry. I took both shots within a couple of minutes. I like the hard lines, detail and shadow on this one.
