Happy new year! Hope you had a goof time during the holidays and all the festivities! I had 2 weeks off and did a lot of relaxing. Tomorrow work starts again. Looking forward to the normal things again. Except for my alarm at 6 o'clock ofcourse.

    I agree with the comments below about you being too dark, I think you just needed a fill light for your face.  I really like the background as it is.  I love that you have a genuine looking smile on your face.   

    I didn't have two weeks off for the holidays, but I did have the couple of weeks broken up because of them and still was able to relax.

    The photo overall is a little dark which contrasts with your smile, I feel like this should have a more cheery feeling.
