“ Alien - The Day After ”

Hibiscus flower bloom for only 24 hours (48 if you are lucky). The following day, they roll-up and you see the pistils and the stamens sticking out the end of a tightly rolled set of petals. When I took this macro photo, I was surprised to see that the tips of the pistils look like ciliated ...
